Attendance Conditions and Payments
As part of the School for Body-Mind Centering we have the following guidelines to support the student group and each participant to have a fulfilling experience.
The course schedule will have a daily structure of three 2 hour core classes and 1 hour integration class. Depending on the location each day starts at 9:00 / 9:30 in the morning and ends by 5:30/6 p.m. With 7 hours a day class time there we have 1.5 hour lunch break and two short breaks.
Missed Class Policy; At times you may need to miss a class. Should you miss more than 20% of the total class time you will need to retake the whole course and you can repeat any course for half price. A missed class form is included in each notebook to be completed and handed in to the program director by the last day. The first and last days of a course are compulsory.
Certification; Further conditions of attendance apply to get the course credit for certification and are available in the course notebook provided at each course. To graduate from the SME, Practitioner and IDME courses, all students need to complete specified homework requirements (a homework pack is available to all students during the course and copies can be requested), and to have paid all fees.
Each course may be taken individually without any prerequisites except Professional Development and Competency courses. You may also repeat any course at half price should you wish to deepen your understanding.
Assisting – once a graduate you can come back to assist in the program to deepen your understanding.
Payments: A place on any course is not guaranteed until the registration is completed and a non-refundable deposit of £50 is paid. The balance of the course fee is due one month before the course start date to guarantee a place. Please email the screenshot or payment advice/proof of payment to us with the account paid to, your surname and course (abbreviated if needed) as reference.
Spread the Cost: We have payment plan options for a limited number of students so please contact us about this option if required. We recommend starting payments before the course starts and these can be refunded should you cancel your registration up to two weeks (14 days) before the start date. Payment plans are subject to a direct debit agreement.
Early Bird Discount: If registering up to two months before the course there is a reduction of £5 per day per course except for Competency – this is shown on the registration page for each course.
Cancellation Policy Reminder
Please note: Having registered and you cancel up to 2 weeks before a course starts, we retain the £50 deposit to cover administration costs and refund you your balance. If you cancel within two weeks of the start date the remaining course fee is due.
Accommodation; The course fees do not include accommodation. We can provide a list of ideas and options when you register for the course. For residential courses we will provide information about the options and costs.
