Somatic Movement into Dance Classes with Lavinia Cascone (BMC® practitioner, IDME, Dance Teacher)
The classes offer a non-performance-oriented approach to movement to reconnect and bond with one’s own body and sense of self.
The explorations propose a way of moving the body that emphasises the internal experience rather than the outcome, drawing from Body-Mind Centering® and experiential anatomy, aiming to cultivate a deeper understanding of one’s own instrument and inner landscape and transitioning gradually from internal bodily awareness to external, expressive motion and improvisation.
